London aerial video.

If you’ve been to a live show or music festival recently, you’re probably used to seeing the sea of smartphone screens being held aloft filming and photographing the experience. Personally, I still prefer the idea of keeping the phone or camera safely in my pocket or bag and focusing my full attention on the show - but this infographic I spotted on Mashable shows that I’m clearly in the minority.

What about you guys, do you get the phone out for some filming, tweeting and facebooking at gigs?

Something beautiful for your Friday.

I love every video that TSO Photography¬†creates - he employs some truly innovative and masterful time lapse techniques and puts in a great deal of effort to get these results, and the accompanying music is always perfectly matched to the images you’re seeing.

This particular piece, called The Mountain, is my personal favourite. You can see all of his videos on Vimeo here.

Have a great weekend. Enjoy.

Here’s another one of our videos for your Friday morning.

Shipton White is a British design house based in London. They required a refreshing new look to match their high-brand profile and style etiquette. DJF Media worked hard to incorporate a look which added to the SW branding, based on a clean, white and fashionable look to adhere to its bespoke clothing range.

We used HD video recording, with sharp and fast editing to mimic the style of a music video, encompassing stylish visual effects & hi-octane soundtracks to boot.

Here’s a pretty damn cool example of the powerful effect of video. Add a bit of colour to your day with this video made for Summerdayze 2012 by Nick Thompson of The Drop Studio.

Some of our own work. This is a piece of promotional work for the bespoke London fashion label Shipton White. This time its set at the Amber Lounge Fashion Show in Monaco. We used HD video recording, with sharp and fast editing to mimic the style of a music video, encompassing stylish visual effects & hi-octane soundtracks to boot.

Here’s a promotional video we made for Paddy & Scotts cafe. We were asked to develop a video that gave a sense of a true caf√© environment. We wanted to capture the indulgence of a well-made cup of coffee - all the way from from brewing to sipping.
